Three recent headlines: Imam's wife assaulted at Maryland mosque Tampa police investigating battery of Muslim woman as hate crime Arson attacks target San Antonio Muslim businesses Whenever I post about an incident of prejudice or harassment experienced by Muslims in America, invariably somebody will post a comment saying "non-Muslims are treated much worse in xyz Muslim country". Folks, that is completely irrelevant. It doesn't become OK to engage in bigotry just because someone else does it. If a person is being mistreated because of their religion or ethnicity, it should be a concern to all people who care about justice, wherever it happens. America is a much better place than this. Let's get back to showing it.
