do I have good timing or what?

So, early this morning I posted a lengthly commentary on Muslim political participation and some areas where improvement is needed. Now this afternoon, CAIR is taking a good positive step forward. It's a small step, but an important one nonetheless and I'm very glad to see it. CAIR will be putting out a weekly election update, on the web and distributed by email. You can check out Isssue #1, which introduces the Patriot Act. It links to a number of resources about the Patriot Act and provides a brief summary of the positions of the nine Democratic candidates plus Bush on the Patriot Act. Kudos to CAIR for this resource.
